1) Use strategies for brainstorming

When I was thinking about writing my acrostic poem, I thought of what I was going to have for a word and what it was going to be about.

    I picked my name for the acrostic word because it is familiar. I also picked writing about struggles and how to stay strong through them because I have been through a few struggles before and I learned that you have to stay strong to get through them.

    I tried to remember how I got through those struggles and encouraging words to help others.
